Tuesday was odd

Work was, well work..got called to the factory a few times, had meetings that I missed, gave blood etc. I went through my day with folks saying "Are you gonna pass out?" Guess I looked a little drained. The funny thing is I got to sign up for a raffle of a motorcycle that Keifer Sutherland used to own...its cause of his "24" fame..but I joked with the Red Cross staff that its secretly a vampire plot...

Got home and I slept curled up on the couch with butterfly. I was so sleepy it took me over 30 mins to wake back up after I had woken up. I made us a quicky dinner of breakfast egg burritos and we headed to practice. It was nice to sit and sew and chat. Though I wasn't sitting too close to the rope, silly boys kept standing on it and pushing on it so it kept hitting me. We have an entrance for a reason boys! Anyhoo, practice was good and I got somewhere on my embroidery. Mel took a beating and whimpered on the way home. After a shower, a few ice packs and IB he was ready for bed. I had taken some benedryl to counteract the allergy uckies I will be feeling today and barely noticed his ministrations to get comfy with a crazy purr monster. I awoke this morning and was feeling okay...kinda puffy from allergens but hopefully not too bad. I'm tired though and mel and I will be leaving early tongiht from Arts Night if we can...I'm too tired.

So, I will endeavor today to get things a bit more organized on my desk, deal with some issues, nag a supplier on my wonderful sheidl that is a week late and head out to lunch with Pete my bestest bud at work. When I get home tonight I'm going to clean up my sewing room (baronial stuff is taking over), wash our bedding and hopefully get some more embroidery done before we head to arts night. Though I will have to figure out something for dinner...it might be chorizo speghetti...

Course, I just realize that I forgot my sweater at home...I'm gonna freeze today...better start the java.

The Suck...

So, the parts I've been waiting a week for...shipped a week ago and I still don't have them. The vendor was kinda shocked since he over nighted them to my desk...loverly. Now he's trying to track down a tracking number so we can attempt to find them in the system. ARGH!!!!!


EDIT: 2PM Come to find my parts arrived last thursday 8:30am to my factory, not to my building and SAT IN RECEIVING SINCE THEN...they weren't even getting to stuff. It was under a huge pile of boxes!!! ARGH!!! Thank goodness its not breakable.

EDIT:2:20pm Looks like the parts might actually work with some editing of the injection mold...hmmmm...neat.

But on the upside I got my other part picked up from the local vendor and got a nummy sweet chicken teriyaki sammitch at subway...so small happienss. Off to kick ass.
