Afternoon of productivity....
May. 11th, 2006 07:07 amWork in the morning was frustration but the afternoon brought parts, reviews and play. I have another review of my sheild today and hopefully that passes and I can get going on getting the parts in house.
After work I was uber house frau and got the bed linens in the wash, washed, re-applied to the bed after flipping th futon; made a nummy speghetti dinner with a homemade sauce; cleaned up the craft room; gathered all of the A&S prizes in one location; repacked the baronial feast gear; put away clothes and ate dinner while researching one of my A&S projects. So, a good night. Had a nice chat with mel and Eric and headed off to A&S night. We had a very large turn out which was good. Our documentation class went really well. Hopefully everyone who attended is planning on getting at least one item in to the competition, even if it has bare bones documentation.
Had a good discussion for the Tourney, though I wish the luncheon folks were there so we could go over things. Oh, well, email is good. After that we chatted in the parking lot with Mary and Brooke. Came to realize that I know Mary way out of context. She is one of the black belts from Desert TKD whom I had met before but never in street clothes. I knew she was familiar but for the life of me couldn't figure it out. Mel had the same thing. It was neat to finally connect the dots.
Got home, popped a benedryl and got a nice shower. Obsidian was major whiney. I think she was annoyed the comforter was clean and fluffy and she didn't have her "spot" anymore. Oh, well she did okay. We woke this morning with her snuggled in her spot. Butterfly was knocking things over in the craft room as the alarm was going off. It was left over gifties and baronial regalia. I have a tub to put that all in now so that should help get the last of the craft room stuff worked out.
I plan on hitting the sewing tomorrow and finishing all of the dresses I have cut out and probably cutting out a new viking. I really do luv them for summer. I also will hopefully get some of my loom warped up so I can make some trim for said viking...we shall see. So, today will bring more productivity. I need to rework my presentation from the last peer review, rework the drawing and go to change board. Should be good. Here's to a good day!
