Friday to now...
Jul. 22nd, 2007 12:36 pmWell, friday we slept in, did a small bike ride (lungs weren't too happy by mile 6) and went to joe's. Got home and started cleaning. The termite guy came for our checkup...we are fine. I got the sewing machines set up adn then we made our shopping list and headed out to the mall for movie and a bit of shopping. We saw harry potter and it was good. Umbridge is the Lawful Evil Mary Poppins, seriously. To think...some poor smuck had to 1)weave those horrid fabrics and then 2)match up all of those awful plaids to make things perfect...ack. Got done there and went to Game Daze and I gots Ninja Burger and Munchkinthullu. Yeah. We also ran into ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
swordmage and her boi. They got hugs for the nummy bread. We then hit safeway for shopping and home. After reading and finishing HP6 we headed to the Auld Dubliner for payday friday. Small group was there and talk was good. Had some gelato at penguins and then headed home. I was tried and new that I would not be able to make it through to the midnight release and went to bed.
Saturday dawned and I puttered around the house then changed into out of the house clothes and went to borders. I picked up HP7 and a few other books and I spent the day reading. Took me 8 hours to read it cover to cover with a small break for lunch. All I can say is that a lot of things were answered, I was right on a few of my theories and well, go read the darn thing so I can talk to SOMEONE about it since mel isn't getting to reading it yet. Mel worked out in the shop for bit and then headed to Hat's Games to watch the 40k tourney. Ran into many folks he knew and then he came home and played simcity 3000 till 1am. I went to bed about 10pm.
Got up this morning and we showered and headed to joe's...we were bad and didn't bike but the rodes were crap, its hella muggy and there are downed trees on the bike path. Had a good breakfast and then we went to the zoo. Had a grand time there and got home just a bit before 11am. I got mel set up on the torch since he's not used the new one, got my machines all ready to sew silky fabric and I have my new vest mostly put together. All in all a good weekend. Plus I have dinner in the crock pot. Well, chat later.
Oh, I did finally manage to get pictures up from Kingdom A&S. Enjoy.
