Monday...not too bad
Oct. 23rd, 2007 07:38 amWork was good and productive. I got home and looked through a new catalog while mel cleaned up things. I then started in on making dinner and the final picking up of the house. I had to run to the store for half and half and it was all in place and I was uploading pictures by the time people started arriving.
bewilde showed up with my print (please see her website for an awesome print sale Bewildered Art)
scribe_ari and
weavedancer both were very entertaining during the painting process. I finished a cute scroll with dragons and cats, perin finished one with a nice illuminated letter and ari drank had fun doing the SCIX gatebook cover. Mel and Sir Stefan were playing in the shop and neighbors Deanna and Rachel were over chatting since the baby monitor reaches to our house.
Folks started leaving about 9pm and the rest hopped out by 10pm. All good. I slept great, even though it was in a little ball. But the cats were snuggly, non-annoying purr monsters. All of us did not want to get out of bed. The nice thing about last night was that mel had made coffee earlier in the evening so I put it in the hot pot for storage. I added the scribble coffee to it when it was made and we still had piping hot coffee this morning. Shade Grown Ethiopian is happiness in a cup at 6am driving to work.
Well, should be an exciting day in the bomb factory!
