Saturday into Sunday

Well, friday was a bit of a late night at the French Quarter. We enjoyed the music and had a really good time. The bartender was making very nummy margaritas for uber cheap and they were strong. Got back and went to bed pretty quick while mel and richard drank a bit and chatted. Got up early on Saturday and had to replenish some nutrietns before we left (vitamin i, you are my friend. Got on the way to winkelman. Mel drove and I got a bit of embroidery done...not enough but that is what today is for. The site looked really good. I raked all of merchants row and that was about it minus making some suggestions on site stuff. Ruidhan and his tractor were a godsend for taking car of the tumble weeds. The river was high, spirits were bright and we left by 1230pm. Got to Nimbus for drinks and lunch at about 2pm. Thyra and Frodi joined us a bit later and all was good. Good beer...I was annoyed that I was the DD but I coped. Got home for showers and then off in Cleo to Sonoita. Had a very lovely time at the feast. Enjoyed talking with HRM Morgan. I was tired though and didn't do much but talk, eat and sit...though I did have to roam a bit to keep the knee feeling better. Got home about 10pm and the swelling had started again. A heat pack and bed were in order. We both fell asleep on the couch and made it to bed a bit later. Slept good minus having to move around due to the knee. Got up this morning, ran and got breakfast (burritos and donuts) for us and richard. The boys are going to be playing in the workshop and brewing. I'm going to finish cleaning up the front room (mel is doing the kitchen right now) and finish guttaing the banner. I think I'm just gonna screw using the tip and just use the one the paint. They will be thick but I will make sure to peal them off the banner before use. My other goals are a bit of laundry and embroidery. I have 5 days and I really didn't do much over the last week due to meetings, practice and our anniversary. Sighs.

Well, time for some more vitamin I and to cleaning.

Oh, a bit of stardust from the feast. The Wives gave the barony Master Andrew's Boar Or to give out to our populace or to keep with the regaila. Wow! He sewed it on to his favor all by himself. Wow.
