Monday was busy...
Jan. 8th, 2008 06:52 amWell, the day was busy but work was a bit dull. I really hate writing reports cause, well, failure analysis is never exciting and getting verbose doesn't work very well. So, I made my post to the aten list to be a bit more creative in my day and I think it helped. Got home and our monday ritual of cleaning the house was well underway by the husband. We completed the full rearrange of the counters, I did dishes, he put on soup and we got things picked up. Then we stretched the silk for wednesday's class and he got one entire set traced while I ran to the store and then stretched out the other panel. I was disappointed that I was not able to find
these chips...they are heaven on a chip but I did pick up the tostitos crack and some queso and that was a good snack for richard and I. He was kind enough to install my task lighting that he bought for me for xmas and it looks great! Course the next kitchen thing is for me to reorganize the pie plates and a few appliances like my cuisinart and my kitchenaid for easy access to the counter. Mel did mention the work to be done on strengthening the cabinet shelves and I'm also all for that. Plus I think its time to do a glass purge since we have run out of space and I know that we don't use most of them, even on game nights.
Scribble was uber small, just
scribe_ari and
weave_dancer and myself. I got to see my rus raven that ari is doing for my mantle, perrin finished a scroll and ari saved all but 4 of the coffee spill scrolls.
My arms are hurting today so typing is a pain..I need to stand and stretch everything out otherwise I'll be useless for practice tonight and I really need to type today. Anyhoo...it was a nice night. Mel got to do more geeky research with Steffan and I worked on a few laurelly things and all was good. Slept great and was able to get to work almost on time. So, on to the day.
Photos finally got uploaded:
