ianuk: (caw!)
The game on friday seemed a bit slow but we managed to kill lots of things and make it towards the den of the end boss, we get to actually get into the den this friday...maybe then mel will kill us all. Slept really good on on friday and then got up and going kinda shakely on Saturday morning. We were both tired and the shower made me more sleepy. The day was windy which made putting up the pig interesting and the archery shoot a bit more challenging. I was without handwork...which bugged me. I helped for a bit on "Project Tony Short Pants" and felt better. I took photos but I need to get them loaded still. There is video from the archery shoot as seen here

Much thanks to Megs for some wonderful videography...you and I need to talk steam punk at some point. We had a good time and got home about 330pm. I got changed and picked up the house a bit. I also got my special project ready for Mistress Cecilia. Misha and Kenneth arrived about 5pm or so for documentation research and we had a grand time. I worked on my embroidery and helped with the pulling of books for research. They left about 830 or so I think and we chatted with richard for a while. I think mel started watching tv while I pulled beads off mandrels (OMG, 150 beads equals blister on my finger!). We then both fell partially asleep watching a program on tv...so it was bed time early (11pm).

Sunday morning dawned bright. We relaxed into the morning with breakfast and coffee. I was dressed and ready to go early so I read for a while on the short story Interlude in Death. [livejournal.com profile] robomarkov came to pick up the trailer and they left while I was still dinking around the house. I got to site before them which was interesting. Folks were all a bit slow on the set up on Sunday but it was okay. We had a nice court, gave out some good awards, got to see [livejournal.com profile] dverning get his WHITE SCARF!!! And got to see the fun tournament. Everyone was having a good time. I chatted with lots of folks, handed out all of the rest of my documentation handouts. I worked on my embroidery and almost got most of the laurel leaves outlined. The silk from last week's post is fantastic to work with. Seriously fantastic. I need to order more colors since I like to shade when I embroidery to give a more lively effect.

[livejournal.com profile] zippydclown was victorious in the Grail Tourney as he said he would be. Much schtick on TRM Eduard and Asa on making me cringe ensued throughout the day and concluded with HRM Eduard drinking from that VILE Cup. Ack! Its gotten into people brains...seriously. After that it was a good tear down and then a travel home. I was dressed and out of the shower when mel and mark arrived home. They did find that a dagger was sitting on the wheel fender of the trailer the entire way home. Mel got showered and dressed and we, with richard, headed out to Sweet Tomatoes with Ed/Asa. We did stop at BevMo! and picked up a few brewskies. Dinner was good...though something (I think all of the cheese I had) is making my tummy wonky. We're out of yogurt and I'll need to remedy that this afternoon. We went back to our place to chat some more and had a good time.

The work week is looking less hectic than last week which is good. I think I will take Wednesday off for my b-day. It will just mean extra work in the next 2 days to prepare for my meeting I need to present information at on Wednesday. So, I think its doable....just can't fall into the monday rut.
