Nice day...really...
Jul. 26th, 2008 10:01 pmWell, in the game last night after the guano incident of last week I have now been covered (as has most of my party) in the ickhor of many demon bats. Yuck...oh and there is a succubus at the church...fun. And that is where mel left us until way after pennsic. I slept well but awoke at 730am. I motivated enough to get unto bike gear but I sat stretching wathing The Closer for a bit until I went to my bike riding. The ride was slowish (14.4 mph) and I was tired. Got home and mel was up and had made coffee. We chatted while I had toast and a bannana and then we got going on getting ready for the trailer pack and for Willa and Dom's wedding. So, the tent, cots, blankets and helmets are on their way (tommorrow) to pennsic.
We got to the wedding in good time and had a very good time with the uber geeky wedding and game reception. Vinny, Ed, Candace, Mel and I played Munchkinthullu and then it was time for Ed and I to rock out on rockband (98% and 100% on vocals booyah!) Had a very good time and got to see Erika, Julia and Eric whom I haven't seen in ages. Willa was gorgeous and she was awesome and put the festoon that I made for her around her bouquet! Dom was uber dashing in his suit. After the wedding Ed and Candace headed with us to 17th Street market and then to the Barrio Brewery. We got home a few hours later and Richard had just started working on the weeds. We all spent about and hour pulling weeds in the front yard. After that mel continued to work on his satchel and I pretty much failed my dex roll to work on my patents. I got the straps cut but mel had to work the pins on the buckles for me. Sighs. Then I worked on my chatelaine parts and again...failed my use tool roll as well. Eh. I can do things tomorrow.
Sounds like early bike ride, breakfast and then I have time to finish buckles, sew my patents, put holes in my knees (armor) and strap them up and maybe work on my chatelaine items.
