So, I've been cooking and working on war stuff and I realized that I really need to write out the recipe a bit better...plus I have some tips and tricks that need to be listed that make things helpful.

Some history...I started making chili for one of our first wars in Atenveldt. I grew up with a very hearty northern style chili, no real chile flavor...just home cooked stew food. So I made some changes to how my mom made it when I was growing up and added some South Western flair.

Well, it was a tough week at work and then its been a tough time at home, trying to get things done.

After work yesterday I was able to run errands: HRM house, target, joanns and safeway. Then it was home to make dinner and work on documentation...which I did until 11pm.

Got up this AM, didn't bike but I slept really, really well and that was good.

I made stroganoff and chili and Tara and I have been cranking out bags for the the kingdom basket. That is almost done and she's going to bind the edges for me. We're also almost done with the cataloging of all of the donated items..so that is an almost done task. I've got some coordination to do with the other kingdoms but things are going well.

The A&S entry is going good and the boys are off to get more supplies for pig repairs. Hopefully tonight I'll get the maps sent to me and then tomorrow I can do layouts...if not it will be laundry and documentation...which still isn't bad.
