Wow, where did that come from...
Apr. 6th, 2009 06:52 amWhen last we left our intrepid embroiderer, she was ensconced on a futon tambouring her eyes out whens he decided to sync up her ipod and that made the music stop due to a software upgrade. So, she let the machines whirl in harmony on the table and decided to start the spring cleaning of her studio at 730pm on a sunday. Smart, no?

Before I get any further in the tale of my OCD, let me just say HAPPY BIRTHDAY to
scribe_ari. Have a wonderful day, darling! See you this evening!

Back to the tale of the embroider stuck in a time warp of organization...(yes, when I'm sleep deprived I get poetic, sue me)...I figured I'd just start by going through the cubicles and well, that led to sorting through a bit of fabric which then led to a "aha!" moment where I realized I wanted to rearrange furniture so I had to clear space to do that and that is where I left it at about 1030pm. I got a shower and then finished watching house and then attempted to to go to bed. I'm thinking I need to stop reading Brimstone Kiss...the world is a bit too confusing at this point I think..dunno. But I was tired and falling asleep reading so I curled up and bammo...couldn't sleep worth a spit.
Meanwhile during all of this, mel has been pathetic, playing halo or curled up on the couch watching house drinking hot chocolate. He was sleeping very fitfully and he didn't feel good this AM and stayed home from work. Poor guy, his so miserable when he's sick. Not sure what is wrong with him besides general malaise. I'll call him at lunch and see how he's doing.
After work I plan on taking 2 machines in my car to Cathey's for repair/adjustments, hitting costco, coming home and packaging up meat from the weekend shopping trips and then rearranging the studio furniture. I will probably not get the studio completely done but it will be better I think. My hole goal is to 1) make more space, 2) organize things better by craft and 3) make it so when I'm making beads I don't have to walk to put them in the kiln. We'll see how that goes. Course if this works, I'll be in crafty heaven...if it doesn't well, that is what happens when the spring cleaning but gets you.
