Or at least driving crazy. I had 2 different trucks on alvernon/golflinks try to get into my lane yesterday with me in it on my way to do errands. I had a guy stop on a GREEN and then sit there as it turned yellow and red. I almost ran into him and
scribe_ari's b-day cake almost took a header. Then Shanda had a bad experience behind her on the way to my house on i-10 that involved a large cargo van towing a trailer with a carnival ride that did a 360° in her rear view and then this morning I had a guy weaving through traffic most of valencia get into an accident behind me and then just drive away with his bumper on crooked. WTF? Is there LSD in your rice crispies? Or are they just talking to you and you are listening!
Anyhoo...yesterday afternoon, sans the traffic issues, was nice. I got all of the errands ran and then got home with just enough time to rearrange furniture in the studio and man does it look like a different room even with things still messy.

The gold leafing went really well and lots of folks got to learn. We have one more cypher (I think) that needs leaf but then everything is gilded. There was much fun with double talk during the class and richard had the best commentary. The cake went over well and we almost made it through 2 pots of coffee. It was a good night. Mel went to bed on time, still not feeling 100% but I think people interaction helped a bit. I got into the shower right after everyone left, dealt with a crack in my heel (I <3 Dr. Scholl's Overnight creme) and then read for quite a while. It was very late when I hit the hay finally. Got woken up at 330am by the cats yelling at the out door animals and I had to go shut the front door. Then back to bed. I fell back asleep after the alarm this AM and that made me really late but I'll cope.
Tonight will be finishing up the studio rearrange (ie put stuff away and clean shelves and then on to embroidery. I hope to find some soapstone for my casting project as well. We shall see though since that can probably wait until later this week.
