So, Thursday was the suck, friday I was better, still not great but better. Had breakfast out with Tati and that was good and then, due to my tattoo getting rescheduled due to allergies we headed out shopping. Got some nice serving bowls at home goods. Mel got some of the siding pulled on the house and well, things were worse than we thought. Trip to lowes got us supplies and a game plan.

The game was good and I got going on my tambour. Friday night I didn't sleep worth a damn...not sure what is up with that but its been a trend of late. I got up at 730 and worked on embroidery all day while it rained. The siding work didn't get done and then that evening while

richarddbrewer was making pizza he noticed that the cabinet that held all of the glassware was pulling off of the wall. Attempts to fix it in situ were a fail. Game plan was to work things in the morning. I slept really well on Saturday night and I finished one of the roses for

fieryredhead's coat. I think the first one took me so long due to tired and trying things out.

Sunday dawned and shanda and I met

thyra_raigan and Frodi at Joe's. Met up with Candace and Ed too. Breakfast was a hit and we got back just in time for the boys to go to lowes to get stuff since all of the cabinets on that side had to come down. We got instructions and started in on the more demo of the siding to help out (thank you thyra and frodi!). Got things wrangled to down past the first window...hard, hard work. Then I twisted my knee weird and had to stop. Crew left and I headed out to ari's to drop off chairs and table and then back to find mingo there to help. Had lunch thanks to tati and then we all got insulation pulled and the boys got the tyvek going. I bowed out after a time and got cleaned up and worked more on the embroidery. Work finished up with all of the tyvek covering the pulled sections and new reflective barrier and insulation in as well. Then we all headed to ari's for dinner.

Our group must have some sort of insecurities with food. seriously, rabbit, duck and lamb? Cod salad, fresh salad, chard with duck fat, corn pudding, mac and cheese the list goes on. Plus the desserts which I only had cheese cake and ice cream but yeah...too much rich food. It was a perfect tucson night to sit outside and enjoy the evening. Shanda and I got the scandahovian dish line going. So much to eat...I ate what I thought was a moderate amount and had a good time doing tambour and watching Bolt. Went to bed and had a very hard time staying asleep and Obsidian kept batting me in the nose or trying to suffocate me with her tail all night. Damn Cat! I slept like crap and my insides felt icky. I think I ate just too much good rich stuff. Oh, well. Its monday which means I slept too late, the network was down and I'm out of kleenex. Sighs.

I need to work hard today, get home, get my ass on my bike and then help mel with the siding. Anybody that wants to help before 7pm should call.
