i think I need a scribe icon..hmmm..
Aug. 7th, 2009 07:05 amWell, yesterday was a good day...stressful in the "must get things done" way but good none the less. I was on fire with productivity and praise so good. I'm glad that things are not so fast today that I can catch back up on everything else that has been on the wayside while I've been working on that report draft. But only a half day today which is nice...cause I have things to do and movies to see!
Got home and I relaxed on the couch with mel and the cats. Snuggles were needed and I was happy to sit and pet the kitties. Mel and I sat reading Paraabnormal which is a hoot and a half and then I knuckled, down after getting some chicken on to steam, to do more calligraphy. My commentary that I needed practice on gothic littera bastarde was true....so I lined out a scroll and had the book open and wrote the entire thing in that script and then I did another one. I got the last two scrolls (which aren't even painted) lined and had text pencilled in.
Course I think I need to put some tips and tricks in here...( skip for the non-scribe )
I hope to do the calligraphy on the last 3 scrolls in my case and be done with that so I can work on A&S. I have this issue that I can't put stuff down until its done before I start something else. If everything has the same deadline I can do it but with things do at different times I work the first due date stuff first. Anybody else do that? Then after I clean up the scrolls for pencil marks and paint on the kingdom arms they will be ready to turn in. Course I might just hand over the last two unpainted to Tati and then they can get turned in at the same time as the others...hmmmmm. We shall see. Then I won't be distracted and want to paint on them versus my A&S stuff.
Anyhoo...time to buckle down and get some paperwork cranked out. All good.
