Wow, it was a busy but relaxing weekend. Saturday we went to the fair with Tati. I KIP while waiting for them to finish purchasing tools at the antique tool auction sponsored by the steam power group. I got some awesome video of the steam stuff and other motor stuff working including the saw mill. Though they did have issues with the saw mill and it wasn't quite up to working well.

The it was home to plant my strawberries and then go to Lenore's going away party. She cooked for her own party which was amusing and nummy. The roo burgers were quite tasty. Gonna miss that fine lady she is a barrel of fun. Hopefully we get her back soon. Got some good knitting done on the sock and then it was home to bed. Mel was asleep well before I got into bed. He'd been drinking a bit much. I was restless and didn't sleep worth a darn. Eh.

Got up on Sunday and had breakfast at Joes and then dropped mel off at home and I headed to Joanns. I got a few things for a finishing the projects I needed for Oliver and I also picked up some fat quarters for a a things as well. Got home and worked on putting the snaps on the bib, repairing a unravelling stitch on my first socks and worked on the blankie for gretchen. I did a load of towels but not any other laundry. Mel worked on his work bench and got all of the stretchers cut and mortised to the legs. Richard was working on his wheels and then in to watch tv.

I rewatched the new Dr. Who from the beginning of the episode versus 10mins in and things made a lot more sense. I understand why he's spastic considering he just regen'd though I missed the last few episodes of last season to know why he had to regen. I got to where Donna Noble got returned to her parents but nothing after that. I think I need to find the other episodes to watch to get caught up. Not sure what I think of Amy Pond...she's a bit too pretty and a bit too crazy. I guess time shall tell but I kept getting de ja vu to Time Traveller's Wife at odd moments. hmmm...dunno we shall see. I also taped and then we watched on the rebroadcast of the Anglo Saxon horde. The archeologist really need to talk with Kate and Gaukler about how you make the cloisonne. Its tedious but not as "impossible and mysterious" as they made it sound. Weird.

Then it was time for bed and I again slept fitfully. The backyard light turned on but I think we had a cat in the yard. Its bright though. The girls haven't been snuggling with us but I think its just cause the front door is open and they are patrolling. We shall see though. Butterfly was cute last night but I think she ate something off the counter. She wasn't too hungry for dinner. Damn cat. Oh, well.

So its monday. I'm feeling almost 100%. I'm gonna hit the gym tomorrow to make sure I'm fully recovered before getting myself worn down again. But I'm so much better than even friday which is good.
