Weekend of crafting
Jun. 27th, 2010 05:03 pmWell friday I spent sewing on TRM clothing. I needed a few arm measurements but they were all together without sleeves for a fit check for Saturday.
I grilled really well for dinner. I really and truly believe that sweet potatoes on the grill are the best way to prepare them. Our game went well and I finished my socks "that wil touched". I'll link to a picture later. They have their issues but I'm happy I finished another pair and now I can work on a pair for mel. Got further on my lace cowl. And I will be weaving trim soon so I have plenty of projects.
Saturday dawned early and I picked up snotblossom and we headed to phx for dante's inferno. Which is aptly named event for phx in June. It was fun but a bit warm in the hall. My fitting on the clothes show that I can't do math and I need to take my own measurements. But honestly. Pretty good for me since I've only made clothes for a few people. We left shortly after the pelican circle and hit the fiber factory and temp yarn. We both bought stuff and I got stuff for mel for naalbinding and stuff for Xmas presents for the mom's.
Got home and was exhausted. Stayed up watching tv really late. This morning a sinus headache kicked my butt. Had breakfast with folks and I was not my best. But got home after coffee and drugs. I took a nap and it helped. Still really stuffy but better than when I woke up. I've chatted with fibergeek and redid damiana's hangerrock. Now I have to iron more fabric and recut stuff for her under dress and then do some weaving. It will be good and Ari is gonna fit check for me at battlemore. Yay!
Well back to projects.
