Well, since I last posted I haven't gotten much done except rest. Which is a good thing since after my friday appointment I got told to rest and take it easy since my blood pressure was high. One of the issues with pregnancy they watch is your blood pressure and mine was way higher than my normal and also on the high side for them to think about testing me for pre-eclempsia. The midwives basically thought that my last week of work was just too stressful and I needed more rest and relaxation. I'm happy to say that they were right. On monday my blood pressure was back to normal. I've slept about 10 hours a night and been taking at least an hour nap a day and I have been keeping my feet up and not really drinking any caffeine. Podling has been happy with the resting and has been doing nightly shows of big stretches and wiggles.

Saturday was a Hrafnheim house meeting before Tom's party. We stayed to just about the start of the party noshing on nummy italian food. Then it was home to watch a movie and relax. Sunday mel went to the Arizona Festival of Books to hear David Weber speak and I did a quick dash to Joann's with [livejournal.com profile] scribe_ari for lining fabric for the baby curtains.

Monday mel went to work and I slept in. Ari picked me up about 10am for my doc appointment and then we headed to the mall for some errands and lunch. We finished up with me getting things at A2Z Babies and then home. I was so tired that I took an almost 2 hour nap. Mel was happy I was resting and I was too. I got dinner made and finished up the podling sweater knitting. I still need to finish off the shoulder seam and put on buttons but here it is...

Knitting on sweater is done!

Its very cute. After that I headed to scribble and worked on two scrolls. One got to the point of way too detailed work and I wasn't up for that. So I started another one to base paint. Got home and mel was working on some more bonus levels of plants versus zombies. It is a fun game to watch.

We went to bed at about normal time. I woke up abruptly at 830am. I hadn't intended on sleeping that long but I was okay with that. I got dressed, had breakfast and then headed to the grocery store to get some staples. Got back and I was beat. Wow. So I laid down and at 1030 got ready for my movie date with Ari.

We had lunch at the mall and saw "Red Riding Hood." Now, we both actually enjoyed it. Its a fun chick flick date movie. Not really scary, gorey or anything like that. More a mystery with a sappy love story. Fun and the ending wasn't really predictable. I wouldn't suggest paying full price but matinee was good and Gary Oldman doesn't disappoint. Got home, had a snack and napped a bit. I didn't get into really deep sleep like the day before but I relaxed and rested and dozed. Got up and started ironing the fabric for the curtains. Mel got home and I then took a break since baby was pushing me around a lot.

So for tonight I hope to finish the sweater and get some more work done on the curtains. Though probably only going to get the fabric finished ironing. Eh, still progress.

Tomorrow I plan on going for a walk in the morning and then resting in the day before heading to knit night. Thursday is the concrete pour for the shop so I will have to get up early for that. Oh, well. All good. The next midwife appointment is monday so we shall see if we make it to then. I plan on being at investiture and the feast but we shall see what podling says about that.

Well, time to eat dinner and work on projects some more.
