Crazy weekend and all...

Well, Friday night was nice with Pizza from Rocco's and me sharing videos with Mel and family of Benton getting his cake and opening gifts.

Saturday I got up and we had a leisurely morning of getting ready. It was a nice day, exhausting, but nice. I talked clothes with Brighid, enjoyed court and the awards that came with it. Benton had a good day. Christy was awesome and watched him all around. He had one tumble though and will be sporting a scraped up nose for picture day on Wednesday. lferion came home with us after the event and relaxed over dinner and escorted us to the vigil. brennabe was awesome and watched Benton who was still awake! while I talked clothes and handed over the last of the fabric to Eza and Tati.

We had a nice time chatting with Anya and then it was home. I was soo tired. Mel had had an exhausting day at his parents house and only got home to his hotel about when I got home too. We chatted and were both tired.

I was happy to get to sleep in this AM. Benton was so tired after breakfast but we headed to target and then home. We read books for a while and then I put him down for his nap. I was on an SCA telecon for almost 4 hours. It was good and informative and that was what I was hoping for. I was annoyed with general meeting etiquette or understanding of how the mute button works but it was good.

Benton got up during the last bit of the call and I was getting a screaming headache. We watched cartoons for way longer than we should have but after a visit from Willa and Dom I took some drugs with dinner and felt much better.

All in all a good weekend I think. I'll be very happy to stop being a single parent though..oof. Two weeks is enough.
