Well, this last week was nuts. My left foot was janked and the ankle messed up and then I got bit by something, we think spiders that had my feet swollen and I couldn't walk. They are better now and just bruised from the venom damage. So no gym time, no walks and basically me snuggled up reading. Which is okay. I did manage to attend the KWHSS that was hosted by Lochac (Australia) and that was nice and I attended the Atenveldt fighter collegium which was also good. Lots of nice classes taught by folks all over the world. Quite fun.
For the books:
22) Late Eclipses by Seanan McGuire
23) One Salt Sea by Seanan McGuire
24) Skin Game by Jim Butcher (re-read from 6 years ago)
25 in process) Peace Talks by Jim Butcher
I'm glad I re-read the previous book but I'm really annoyed with Butchers use of the obdurate when describing immovable/hard surfaces when it really deals with feelings not objects...its weird and not right and he's used it at least 6 times in Skin Game and keeps using it in Peace Talks...its driving me batty. Maybe its british usage I'm not aware of?
Read up on it here: Obdurate in M-W
