Long weekend ahead
Sep. 4th, 2020 11:39 amI made the mistake of not taking today off but meh. I will survive. I have training to do.
Our plans are pretty basic...its going to be hot so indoor crafting for me. i have mel's blanket to finish and I got the 10 balls of yarn from the LYS yesterday. So that should have me busy. I hope we can start either the Mandalorian or Umbrella Academy Season 2 this weekend.
I'm still reading the second Kane Chronicle book and its good but again...I don't feel for the characters as I do for the other series due to the epistolary nature of the writing. Dunno. We shall see. But what is happening is cool and I'm digging the Egyptian Mythology.
If the year had been normal this weekend would have been Dragon*Con maybe for me. Sighs. Its been 4 years since I went due to 2018 I was queen. so my travel was set. Le sigh.
