Wednesday...I'm tired

Well, I got to work on time and got a few things handled. I need to brain storm on a thermocouple issue that could be fun but its a tricksy area and I need to ponder it for a while. Beatrice and I got going to phx about 8am and had a good time. The morning radio show got us laughing and shocked...what some people will publically talk about on the radio for tickets. Got in a bit early to the site but all good. The meeting went really, really well. The parts are still in work and some of the pitfalls I warned them about were very true but the different material didn't make them quite so annoying. We got the inspections done and were able to have lunch at Cornish Pasty Company and it was good. Got some half baked to take home. Bea and I made an uber quick trip to IKEA to pick up catalouges and browse downstairs before heading home in to the rain storm. Not sure if it hit phx but it was a doozy in marana.

Got home and got to relax for just a bit before we headed off to the BFC meeting which was crashed by the Zippy, Mina and Irena. We did get some good news out of it and all was good. Got to the meeting at Bookman's just on time and it was a good meeting. I had a chance to peruse books and then it was home for showers and reading. I'm now about a 1/4 way through Dead as a Doornail and its fun so far.

Tonight I need to work on kung fu before kung fu...maybe get a short ride in...I've been bad this week on the biking but my chest is sore and wind is the suck.

On the work front...what is the problem with replying to an urgent email the day that it was sent? Not wait 2 days after the deadline to reply!!! Ugh, that woman is annoying.

aww, Cornish Pasty Co! *sniff* I miss that place ... all the times that the CoB group would have a massive order there on a sewing night, or calling in an order as we wrapped up a CoB business meeting so that it would all be ready when we got there. Nothing quite beats wrapping up a meeting with a pasty and a Strongbow.
