Well that was dumb...

So the cable guy was here..very awesome too. He tried to come by earlier and checked the alley box and it was fine. He got here about 415pm and after plugging in to our box he figured out that we were shut off. He queried the company and found out that at 345pm on wednesday they had shut off one of our neighbors and the box had both sets marked with their address. So they are going to be crediting us 3 days and I'm happy with that.

Same thing happened to me when my neighbors moved out.

Our cable modem has issues when our neighbors either start or stop service too. Varr explained it to me and it made sense and everything but as soon as he was done talking it all promptly dribbled right back out of my brain. Kind of like when Dan talks about footie and I nod and try to look intelligent.
