Greetings, I, Lady Ianuk, speak now of this artisan, Cecelia as a member of the populace of Atenveldt. I have known of your pending elevations for months being on one of the many to work on your scroll but I've only had two weeks to think upon this. There is so much to say but most of the things I thought of were from my own heart, not the populace of this fair kingdom. so I approached it logically and started asking everyone else's thoughts. Many spoke of your beauty and grace, your intelligence and brilliance. Others commented on how you were open with thoughts, ideas and teaching all of the skill you possess. Another told of your ease at sucking them into an art and helping them on the way to their own greatness.
Your dedication to the arts is evidenced in everything that you do and teach. Many of who stand here have learned something from you - Herzog Mattias, HRM Marianna, m'lady Loraleight and myself. And her is where I speak from my heart and be selfish.
Cecelia was one of the first artisans I met when I moved to Atenveldt and she immediately invited me to Southern Scriptorium since I'd expressed a want to learn calligraphy. At that time, I was nothing more than a girl who played SCA, I'd never created anything and over the last 4 years you have taught me calligraphy, illumination, costuming, documentation and much more. I owe you for the change in my thinking and helping me on the way from being untalented and unmotivated to creative and always striving to learn something new. And in that you are one of my closest friends. Here is to seeing you prosper as Mistress Cecelia.
