Well, I must say the weekend was not long enough (are they ever?) but I worked hard and got many things done. Mel and I have made another resolution about the house. Our first was to keep the kitchen clean or clean enough that 15 mins would get it back to spotless. Our second was to get laundry put away right after its done. We both have the horrible habit of letting the clean stuff sit in baskets (or the floor) and not in the places its supposed to be. Well, I did 5 loads yesterday and I folded and put away after each load got out of the dryer. That made it a much easier task by far and I've finally seen the entirety of our floor in the bedroom which enabled me space to do my crunches this AM.

Well, saturday was spent working on the kirtle eyelets. I worked on my armor yesterday. I got the leather lamellar all tightened back up, conditioned and cleaned. It looks pretty good. I also got my metal elbows working but I think I will just use my old plastic ones for pennsic. They still work but at least now I have a working set. I also got the hem of the kirtle done and it looks great. I need to wash it up for pennsic and get the packing list worked out.

So, I've added a few more things to the list...but all in all not too bad.

1) Hem collar, sleeves and hem of kirtle
5) Eyelets on kirtle
6) Lace new set of armour 70% complete
7) Put buttons and loops on light weight fighting coat Gonna wear old coat.
8) Make buckles for pattents. Sketch completed and richard cut the soapstone for me.
9) Water proof tent
10) Pull suitcases for start of packing
11) Get metal elbows working
12) Buy new set of plastic knees Buy new stainless knees...delivery by Roland.
13) Drawstrings/eyelets in pants
14) Make 2 linen bigens
15) Refit old armor
16) Get chatelaine finished
17) Packing list working
18) Buff helmet.
