yanno, I really hate people who get folks spun up like hamsters over a non-issue. If you think there is something going on, you had better have evidence otherwise...keep your trap shut. It really fun when the chief engineer calls someone out on the carpet with mis-information and they you get to play damage control.
Anyhoo...got done with work, headed out and got
fibergeek's belated b-day present second half bought and then it was home. I will attempt to ship it out today...we shall see how that goes.
Then I got home, got stencils cut for stepping down. Oh, here is what it looks like Stencil cutter but they are much cheaper at joanns. They are basically a glorified soldering iron. Though Raylee said they have a heated exacto knife that does a similar thing. Anyhoo...got the stencils cut and when I got back from errands at fighter practice I put the stencils to use. Oh, well, here is the one I'm actually borrowing Cheaper stencil cutter.
Then decided that the last part of stenciling (the laurel leaves) needed to be in red....and I only have transparent red which makes things look pink when you add the textile medium. So, I get to go to the craft store this afternoon to by a opaque red. Sighs. Not sure if I will have time to finish the stencils before arts night. I hope I do. Got done with that decision and then I got the sleeves sewn back on the kirtle the right direction and got the trim pinned on to be hand stitched for the hem. Then mel was home and we stayed up way to late watching tv...course he was up way later than I was...but still way late.
Oh but my last post used my new "crafty" icon..tee hee.
