Lets just say most of my day was spent waiting on other people to do their jobs so I could get a waiver for some hardware ready. Our team did good on the write ups for the rationale but jeez....4 hours to get numbers? sheesh.

Got to micheals and got supplies including my own stencil cutter (bwa hahaha!) Got home and had just enough time after my quick salad dinner to get all of the red laurels stenciled on mel's coat. They look very, very sharp. We got dressed and I grabbed the kirtle to work on the hem during classes.

We had a presentation by the TDP about how to keep thieves away from your house...very good suggestions..we'll be implementing a few of them. Then it was time for Roland's pouches class. It was funny and informative and omg, he hasn't given a slide presentation before...tee hee. We did see if he will be teaching at the collegium in june and he said he might. (we'll keep pinging him).

Got home and made dip for today's steak potluck BBQ. OMG, how I have missed the ugly steaks from Dickmans. After work I hope to get home and put all of the red trim on mel's coat (well, get the one side sewn and ready for hand work) and get my fighting clothes cleaned up for Victory Hall. I'm looking forward to fighting...its been a bit. I'm feeling pretty good other than my sinuses being a bit stuffy from the stuff in the air.

Tomorrow is an off friday. Got truck maintenance, dentist appointment and coronet workings to do. We're not officially gaming due to us being distracted and Ari being gone but we will probably be board games, maybe..not sure. Got lots to work on. Mel's feeling the pressure and my goal for the weekend is to get as much done on clothes as possible...so all I have to do is hem things next week and be ready.

1) Eyelets in kirtle (probably by hand)
2) Sleeves on Kirtle (they are pinned)
3) Hem edging on kirtle
4) sew ivan's Cote 50%
5) Button holes on my cote / on mel's coat
6) Painting on mel's cote
7) Trim on mel's cote
8) Thank you scrolls printed
9) edging on kirtle sleeves
10) Plan out final courts 50%
11) Don't go insane - IN PROGRESS
12) Get trim from Tara for caftan and svista
13) buttonholes on kirtle sleeves
14) Buttons on kirtle
15) Buttons on Cotes (forgot about that one)
16) Get final gifts packed up
17) Get nefarious plans ready

I'm just sad it was last night, instead of next Wednesday. I wanted to take that Autocrating class....

His poor presentation style was actually attributed to Vallawulf telling him he had until the 16th to prepare, so he only was able to complete the slides and not an accompanying presentation. Still, less reading would be better, even if slightly unprepared :)
