Monday...ouch.

Well, Sunday was productive since I was able to actually walk around pretty well. I got laundry on, ran and errand and then headed out to the ball game. Had a very good time. the family in front of us was a riot and the game was pretty good. The beer prices are high but the food was on par and nummy. I had a Gordon Biersch Marzen and a Nimbus Red very tasty along with nachos from El Charro. Dbacks lost 9-6 but they rallied towards the end to come up from 9-3. So all good. I only managed to get sunburnt on my right forearm in a strange shape. I must have sprayed on the sunscreen and then wipe it off in that area...but all good.

Got home and the leg was tired...lots of stop and wait traffic on the way out of the park. Got home and projecty goodness was happening all around the house. I had some ice cream and then started in on the embroidery again. I'm almost done with the piece I started on friday night. Its for mina's shower and it looks really good.

I need to finish that up so I can start on project for fieryredhead which I should be picking up the materials for tonight. My section probably won't be all tambour but I'm gonna try. That will be on the docket for the next few weeks to get done. I'm sure it will go quick once I get the hang of tambour.

So this weekend, minus an errand I did nothing but embroidery and hanging out with people and watching bad tv...except for last night. I watched most of a show on the Codex Gigas: The Devil's Bible from a scribes point of view is rather interesting and from historical is really neato. Need to read up on the codex since one of the investigators was a good scribal author.

Anyhoo, its monday and I have emergency paperwork to do. All good but coffee first. BTW, richarddbrewer thanks for the cinnamon raisin bread..its gonna make a good snack today. Driving to work was painful on the knee...the clutch is not my friend. Hopefully I can keep things stretched out.

1) New tires on car
2) Put away laundry
3) Clean up studio
4) Write thank yous from prezzies at Investiture
5) Finish bridal shower piece
6) Start tambour work
7) Get refitted on bike
8) Write a b-day letter to elisha and make her a gifty.
9) Work documentation
10) Go see Watchman (this was supposed to happen last friday but we figured me + knee+ 3 hour movie no good.)

No, I'm not coming out for the wedding, they were just super cool to me and I want to get or make them something, and if it's a wedding present then they can't just turn around and feel obligated to get me something in return. Mwahahaha!

what else do you make besides jewelry? Cause both of them don't wear a lot of it...knight chain for him...a little ring for her...sometimes she wears things with her dressy dresses.
