Well, after warping things up last night it was time to hit the bed. Showers were had and I giggled my way through some more PP&Z. Then I tried to sleep...something I've ate over the last few days wasn't making my tummy happy. Not sure what or if it was just biking and lots of water but my tummy wasn't happy. Its okay this morning but man I could have slept longer..but who doesn't on a monday.

Just have a few chores to do when I get home to be ready for scribble. And we do need to go grocery shopping...and I need to do laundry but after that...weaving and embroidery until scribble.

Thinking Saturday would be a good day for a nice ride out to Saquaro National Monument...anyone interested who might be in town? I need to start doing longer rides and well, I think weekends would be good.

Other than that...short days and short week due to the holiday...makes me happy.

You been reading my mind? I was actually planning a ride of the monument this weekend. I would be willing to do it with ya!

You won't be here.

Didn't you do it yesterday? You posted you were going to?

If I don't hit it with you I will be hitting it up regardless sometimes this weekend. Also planning on doing the Vail loop this weekend too. Gotta start ramping up my mileage.

So which routes are you taking?

There are several I like to do. One I seem to do with frequency is:
Harrison South to Irvington.
Irvington West to Kolb.
Kolb North to Tanque Verde.
Tanque Verde East to Pantano.
Pantano North to Speedway.
Speedway East to Harrison.
Harrison South to my house.

It's a nice one.

The Vail loop is from my house out Old Spanish Trail to Vail. From Vail I would come back via Old Vail Road (has new name now but its the road the schools are on) and head to Houghton. Houghton North to Irvington. Irvington to Harrison. Harrison to home. Though. Reading your post about this weekend made me realize I could probably ride out to Vail and hit the frontage road and ride that back to Kolb and take Kolb all the way South.

Ah. Tucson. So many great routes of awesome!

okay, I meant to the monument...not your normal ride routes...though the vail one sounds neato...I've never been to vail.

I'm not sure there is frontage east of Kolb on I-10 in that area.

Oh. From my house its a simple head out to Golf Links and head East. Then Bump over slightly North to Old Spanish Trail. Ride OST to the Monument. Do the loop. Then come back. The loop at the monument alone is an 8 mile loop with one really GOOD climb.

I am not sure either. Though. I could take a few different routes to get over to Kolb from Vail. Lot's of options.

Part of this weekend is dependent on my sisters move.

Considering coming to scribble to get some direction but I'm wondering if I can bring the pup. The boys aren't good sitters and Darin won't be home.

I think the puppy will be fine...my girls might be weird but they have seen little dogs before. Bring the crate just in case.

No problem, we don't go anywhere right now without the crate. And thank you
