oh come now.... Crochet is marvelous for just switching off the brain and letting the OCD take over. I consider the choice of Knitting or Crochet a decision based on texture and use of the end product.
Like I mentioned last night. I'd HATE to knit a blanket.
I agree on the product. I just crocheted a bunch of washcloths for the Ronald McDonald House and that was nice to do as a crochet project. But, I've knitted things like shawls and blankets and for some reason just got the hang of knitting better than crocheting.
I think they both have their uses and it all depends on time too. Crochet is uber quick for lots of things but knitting I can also see feed my OCD like crochet. So I think I'll have both types of projects going on for quite a while.
The color is a dark rose heather from Lion Brand Woolease. Its the last ball from my afghan. I decided that once I'm done with the colors I've got on the afghan, this was left over and I'd use it...since the afghan is almost done and this was just sitting in the stash.
