Monday...yup, it was
Mar. 30th, 2010 08:18 amWork was, well, hmmmm...now that I think about it..I'm not sure what I did but research stuff so I guess it was okay but still a Monday.
Got to the gym even though about 30mins before it was time to go I was having asthma issues. My left bronchial was doing the sharp shooting pains of tightening down. So, I was a good girl and took my inhaler, full dose. I left work and headed to the gym, dragging the inhaler with me. I picked the standard workout but I lightened up my assist weight on the dip/chin up machine and got heavier medicine balls for my snowman crunches. I pushed hard and then hit the stair climb machine for a hard 15mins of intervals. I kept my heart rate up and that was a good. Got done and headed home.
Mel was curled up looking pathetic on the floor. He had managed to can up the soups we had made and snuggled up on the couch most of the day. He was feverish still and getting congested so I dosed him with some cold meds and then made him a grilled cheese sandwich. I got the rest of the front room settled and vacuumed half of the family room, the front room and the brewery. Plus I got all of the dishes done and put away and Mel got a shower and cleaned up. He was feeling much better with food, shower and meds so he sat on the couch and played video games to the delight of Mark and Maddie. Had a good scribble and I made banana bread/muffins while the girls scribed and then I worked on the blankie. I plan on hitting target and costco after work today to get more organization stuff and get the studio even more into shape. I hope to finish that tonight and then I can hit the guest room closet and more of my dresser drawers. Hopefully Mel will be up for doing more in the family room. Its down to his stuff filling up the back of the family room. I'm gonna convert some of his stash to drawers for ease of storage though, I'll get the non-ventilated ones since his doesn't get as much use as mine. All good though.
Well, time to work more on some research. Its gonna be that kind of day.
