Week in review....or so...

Our anniversary went off without a hitch. We had a really good dinner at Guadalajara Grill and I have to say I think their flan is better than Mingo's. We then went to the cheap seats and saw Dark Knight Rises. Wow....what a trip! Seriously, the twist at the end was comic book perfect. Got home and then chatted with Laura and went to bed late but it was a good night.
Friday was crazy with work stuff and I barely made it to daycare on time to pick up Benton after a really good workout with the girls. I think I worked on crochet that evening while mel was playing video games. Saturday I got up early with Benton and watched tv and played. By the time I was ready to head out to a B-day brunch for a friend he was in meltdown-need a nap mode so I was out way longer than intended. Had a nice time at the brunch and the hit costco with the BFF. Got home and Benton was being crazy and we had a hard time getting him under control for dinner. oof. He went to bed and complained for quite a while before settling down. We are pretty sure its due to his incisors coming in and being over tired.
Sunday we got up and then headed to Joe's for breakfast. Mel then went off doing errands and I had Benton for most of the day. I finally had to resort to a binky to get him to fall asleep for his nap. I did not get to cutting out his halloween costume and that I was regretting much of this week. I did clean up the house a bit and get my studio into useable state and did some laundry but I did not complete any projects over the weekend.
Monday was crazy busy with work and I got home about 30 mins before scribble. I had to run to Joanns (btw, hate the new layout with a passion) and then home after the gym. I worked on ben's costume all through scribble and was cutting out things while folks painted etc and only went back to the studio to sew seams. I managed to get the front buttons pieced together and the tunic sewn before bedtime.
Tuesday was another crazy day and I managed to stay up way too late but his costume was done at 10pm. I hand embroidered the buttons on. He went as Thor
So blurry cell phone picture this AM:

Here is the whole ensemble:

I'm wearing my ME clothing. People keep thinking I'm a gypsy....baroo? But I just tell them that this is what Princess Jasmine should have been wearing in Aladdin.
So now I hope to really finish up the one crochet project I've got going on and then be able to start the second one and get those off of my plate. I have xmas present plans and I really want to work on my sweater more. All in all good but wish I was getting more sleep.
Oh for those of you who are Butcher fans...the first chapter of Cold Days came out today. Go read and enjoy....remember certain people are SCARY...very scary.
