Well work was tiring. I was tired, things were boring and I was tired. It drug on. But I did have my mid-year which went well but the complaints to HR about my "totally accurate things I said" (May 29th) may backfire on me but we shall see. I have a good case and performance and I forwarded my paygrade compare to my section head and my dept manager. But we shall see. Actions/consequences etc. Sighs.

But I finished work about 20 mins early and headed into town cause we were out of coffee. I also had a list for ace and got a few nice things we needed but then left one at the store. I will have to go pick it up. Sighs. But I was able to get home after 4 stops (Dollar General, Ace, Grocer, Gas) in a bit over an hour. The boys were in the garage rearranging things. Now this task really should have been on the to do before the family got here but oh well better late than never. I also did some digging and figured out how to put the kubota in neutral to push it forward. So now we can park another car in the other garage bay as long as its small. Plus they took the forge down and moved it to the side for easy storage and rearranged the shelves and cleaned stuff up. We were under a heat advisory due to the humidity. I managed to get us dinner from leftovers and then I disassociated while Benton was in the shower and Mel was finishing up the weed spraying. We will put that on the list for earlier in the stay so we don't have quite so much to do? We shall see.

I did spin for a bit and then worked on mel's shoulder once he baked in the shower. Its sore and had to have help lifting things but this morning he woke up and it was sore but not as stiff as the day before so that is good. We both slept really well and I only woke up at some point cause my fan had turned off? I may have hit the timer button when I set it back to level 2 when I went to bed. lol.

Today will be cleaning things (floors etc) and getting things set to rights. I really wish we had another week. But if wishes were fishes? Also, we need to not work the day before we leave. Cause there is just too much to do in general and its easier to do things not in a rush.

About 50% through #17 for the year and things are getting interesting. I think after this book I will get back into the other part of this world. This one is slow and I like it but I want more fast paced lead up and action.

I've left a message with Arsenda. I have not called cause my brain is dumb. Sighs

Friday work was just hellacious and I was grumpy and tired and had to drive to work due to needing computer help and a meeting in another building that had to be in person. So I dropped Benton at school and then managed to get to work while on meetings. Arrived at the company that handles our IT and had a fun time chatting with the tech. She ran through things since its been two months since we 'diagnosed' the issue. Well, with software/bios updates and her going through troubleshoot she wanted to try a few things before replacing the card. So she started taking the laptop apart and found that it was not assembled per the instructions from Dell in a few spots and then we got down to the speaker to find out the ribbon cable to it was never plugged in. thus it was not working. Rule number 1 is always MIL-TFD-41 which correlates to "is it plugged in? (The acronym means Make It Like The Fucking Drawing For Once).

So now it works and then I got done with my brain drain in another meeting on plant site and then it was driving home while talking with my risk manager. Got home and had lunch and thne it was a slammer of meeting after meeting and I was just done. I was already on OT and told my deputy to cancel the 3pm meeting he had scheduled. I did my time card and then I sat down to play video games (Animal Crossing). I got about 40 mins in and then couldn't keep my eyes open. I saved and then headed to lay down. I awoke 3 hours later and groggy. Obviously I needed a nap. Not sure if it was stress, drugs leaving my system, lack of sleep or C: All of the above. But I still went to bed about 11pm and slept until 730am...I had things I needed to do and after some video game time I got up and took Benton to getting new tennis shoes (he's now a a women's size 11) and after some hemming an hawing he still likes the women's colors and I agree...mens' shoes in sizes 8-9 mens are bland and grey. So this will probably be the last time he can get women's shoes since he will be a size 12 and those really don't exist for a cheap price. I used coupons and we shopped in the 30% off with a $20 coupon. But they were still expensive. I miss payless but I think we'd have the same issues and they were cheap but did pretty good but yeah the cheap is why they went out of business.

Then we got kitten food for the food Spicy likes (grain free please) and then we got ice cream and coffee at Dunkin' They got my iced oat milk pumpkin spiced latte wrong and I made them remake it but the pumpkin donuts were nice and Benton got the strawberry ice cream. I did note that Baskin Robbins is making a few oatmilk ice creams and that is nice. I now know I can get ice cream there with a very limited flavor range. It was nice to get things done and then get back to the house, grab things and head to Willa's for movie afternoon. I got to meet the new pug "Burt" who I figured out likes to be called Malcolm. They are in the process of adopting him and as a good playmate for the Anime pug. We watched The Gentleman and then Bullettrain. The first movie has the man I hate to hear talk or watch move but I dealt with it. It was a very odd story and no one is a good guy, except maybe Coach. Bullettrain is just a delight of crazy violence...just forget what your knowledge of how trains work is. Seriously...its just yeah. But its pretty and fun and the characters are all delightful.

Sunday was getting up, getting to Costco, surviving costco...omg too many people, then taking a lie down followed by going to Target and then home to work for a few hours before making dinner and then being a lump on the couch.

Work today has been special but I'm hitting the gym in a few.

The first week with less meds seems to be okay...though I did drink a lot yesterday...it was more to deal with stress and let my brain hyper focus but still...it does not need to be the mechanism I'm using it for. ahem.
