Well that was dumb....

ianukSo I hit prime day for some things we needed for the Summer house and I had them shipped to the wrong location...sighs. Luckily the internet repeaters are coming to the correct house. Mel's been having connectivity issues in the back bedroom. I need to remember to shift to the summer house for standard address and then shift it back on the way back to Tucson. Oh well. Nothing too major.
Work yesterday made my head hurt and I had already woke up with a headache. So I got done, poured myself a beer and sat down listening to a podcast and plying the yarn. It was soothing and helped. Once mel finished work he and Benton headed outside to do yard work. We had leftovers for dinner and just relaxed on the porch after dinner. Which was super nice. The mosquitos weren't out yet so that was lovely. Then Mel and I headed back into do some spinning and crafts. I pulled up my ipad an put on some of my guilty pleasure YT (ear waxing cleaning) with my head phones in and watching and spinning. Very relaxing.
Today I need to stop work early to make it to the courthouse to do the plates for the Rav 4 and to hit the butcher before they close. We have a week left here and still lots to do but that is okay. Its been super nice to be here. Wish we could stay longer.
The staying here next year may be hosed as well since our company put a mandate out for return to work by October. I have heard nothing good from anyone talking about this and I hope they change thier minds by the deadline cuase 1) folks are just going to find other jobs, 2)we don't have space for everyone onsite or conference rooms to have the meetings we do have and 3)this is a serious morale hit.
