Wednesday not so bad...
Mar. 8th, 2007 07:10 amI was on the factory floor or in meetings in the factory from 755am to about 1pm. The afternoon I worked on paperwork and then headed home. I got somethings done but had to have an argument with quality. They were being Stoopid and trying to control the work but when 2 other PE's who heard the phone conversation and aren't even on the parts say "They want to do what?" you know you are in the right. And when your IPT lead says the same thing and knocks their heads in...all is copasetic.
Got home. Mel was already there cooling down from his ride. I got dressed and headed out on my ride. It was really good. I'm going to keep the 4 miles through next week and then I'm going to do the 5.5 route. Well, I think its 5.5, I wish there was a map you could play on that you traced your route and it told you the mileage.
Then we got back into street clothes and headed out for dinner. I was craving good healthy food and we ended up at Shishkabab House. We were the first customers for dinner and by the time we were leaving they were getting full. Then we headed over to Borders for coffee (luvs the Seattle's Best) and books. I picked up 3 "I Can Read Books" that I learned to read on, a new Sneaky Pie Brown and some manga I've been looking for (The Dreaming and Steady Beat). Mel got his Lovecraft fix and now thinks we own them all. We tooled around the mall. Picked up a wedding gift and had a good time. Got home and went to bed.
Today hasn't been too bad. Looking forward to lunch and the nummy left overs. We need to remember to get the combo's for 2 since it comes with a huge salad, ginormous kebabs and the homemade yogurt. Mel stuffed himself last night and we both got lunch today. So good.
