Here we are at thursday already????

So, my flight was good minus my left ear (the non stuffy one) not wanting to pop the entire flight. Sighs. I had a nice dinner at macaroni grill before the flight and I was happy with the delightful company of a texas engineer next to me and that I was able to speak Italian with our waiter. After that I tooled around the airport window shopping and then flew home.

We landed about 30 minutes early which means I was in the door a bit before 10pm. Mel was still up but reading and I got to chat with him before a shower and bed. I had 30 pages left in my novel so I finished that an drifted off to sleep quite quickly. I have a doc appointment today at 140 so its gonna be a short day. I think I will need a nap after that since yesterday was a 12.5 hour day.

Okay I wasn't expecting that...

so I was able to get my trip report completed and that was about it at work between many email responses, meetings and working through a few on the spot situations. I have more to do tomorrow but I only have 4 hours or so that I need to work.

My new GP doc is pretty cool. He listened very well and was curious about my symptoms with my sinuses and such. Then he pulled the "we need to do a CT scan" and send you to a ENT doc that suprised me. I wasn't expecting that. CT scan? Whoa. I have a referral for that, for the ENT and for labs that are scheduled. He did put me on some samples of a new nasal spray that may help with things we shall see. Kinda freaked me which I didn't expect. So I had a nummy comfort food lunch (el Taco Bell) and then went shopping. Its a bad day when every pair of shoes I tried on fit...hmmm, well I had to have some self control. I ended up with these pretties

So, I got home and mel was busy working on things...he's got energy and I'm kinda dragging still. In the weird side...the bread machine that has given us good, good service and hundreds of loaves finally kicked the bucket. Luckily we have a spare...which we got as a wedding gift cause the other machine "was making awful noises." Yeah it took another 5 years to die. Crazy.

So, I need to make some lists for the weekend and plan on what we are eating and what we need to bring. Not sure if we are bringing up the sunshade or not...I'm almost in the point of I'm tired and don't care but the greater good of Tir Ysgithr would like shade I'm sure. Need to make some phone calls and I think coffee will make me feel better.
