So, my flight was good minus my left ear (the non stuffy one) not wanting to pop the entire flight. Sighs. I had a nice dinner at macaroni grill before the flight and I was happy with the delightful company of a texas engineer next to me and that I was able to speak Italian with our waiter. After that I tooled around the airport window shopping and then flew home.
We landed about 30 minutes early which means I was in the door a bit before 10pm. Mel was still up but reading and I got to chat with him before a shower and bed. I had 30 pages left in my novel so I finished that an drifted off to sleep quite quickly. I have a doc appointment today at 140 so its gonna be a short day. I think I will need a nap after that since yesterday was a 12.5 hour day.
Here is my review of the beer:
At rock bottom In Lombardi
Having night sky imperial red ale abv 7.0%
Smokey flavor chocolaty head not clear good hop flavor probably cascade
Description by brewery
"deep ruby red In color, this beer has toasted caramel and spicy rye malt character with a bold Piney hop balance. t the rich flavor and full body make this the perfect compliment to steak or burger"
Brewmaster is a fan of Ipa and belgians the menu its full of them. Timothy Marshall head brewer jared rouben asst brewer.
