an "off" friday....
Jan. 16th, 2009 02:16 pmLast night after work I got the few groceries we needed. I'd had 3 different people either bump the arm or grab it yesterday and that hurt...it was swollen on the elbow and my hand again, not as bad but its still squishy. Too much note taking and mousing yesterday. I seriously need to practice my left hand writing...I'm just not fast enough for work on that. So, by the time I was home and the boys put the groceries away I was tired and very, very sore. I took some more IB and then had a beer and relaxed with richard and worked on land for a bit. At 7pm I kicked richard out to the shop so I could clean the kitchen and at least parts of the bathrooms.
I succeeded on some of it and then got trapped in lots of land and other business on the phone and the computer. Things are better but its annoying being close to deadlines and things not quite right. Richard left, mel got home and I was in the final legs of getting the lasagna on but I needed help moving things around (like the 10+ pound lasagna). We went through the business I handled while he was at victory hall...which made me more frustrated than I have been...I had hoped this week I could at least hit the pell...but nope. I can't even hand moving the arm quickly. About midnight we finished all of the SCA business and headed to bed. I slept okay...but woke up with a headache. Mel was very, very tired and he didn't even stir for quite a while. Well, the plans for the morning did not go as planned...but we had a nice breakfast at joe's and then home for projects. I deep cleaned the kitchen and hung up more pictures and the last of the awards that needed to be hung up. I'm almost done with the front room and have the guest room to tidy and my studio to straighten up after all of the fabric has now been washed for investiture...well all most all of it.
My goal is to finish those two rooms and get my laundry put away before ari gets here at 5pm for me to show her the Silk stuff...I need to convince mel that cleaning up the stuff in the familry room is his...cause I really do thing it is mostly his stuff. Then things should be good for game night and company.
