Work was okay...I got things done and got to follow through on a few other things. Had fun at the potluck and at a bit much but eh. Got home after a 10 hour day with my head aching and not in a good mood. Richard was over and had gotten mel donuts, a redvsblue tshirt and some blades for his jewelers saw. Mel and I headed out after the boys messed with the cooler (the pulley had slipped). We ate at metro and it was way louder than I really wanted it to be. I had a small beer and a sandwich and then watched mel stuff himself on fries. We headed to the officer's meeting. The meeting ran longer than I had expected, got hit with a few things I didn't want to happen but I understand. Made a few officer decisions that will be posted on July 1st and well, bought a book and some new dice and came home. I was out of the shower lickety split and tried to read a chapter in Nightwatch but only got part way before the benedryl kicked in. I'm tired today. Don't think I will be working a 10 today. I can make up time next week. I want to sleep and possibly get a ride in...its supposed to be 108°I dunno. My head is starting to get heavy already and I really want to crawl into a little ball and sleep in a cold dark cave. Oh, well.

That is exactly why we stopped going there. That and dismal service. One time I went and the staff was more interested in watching the game than serving anyone.

Place is always a cacophony of noise. LOL

its usually not that bad when we go but I was also being hyper sensitive and sitting in an amplified spot for the gaggle of women who were enjoying their drinks. We never had bad service...course they know us there too.

Eh. I gave them plenty of chances. Maybe they have changed their act. One thing we have noticed about the McMahon brand of restaurants. Service is lacking. The only place this rule does not hold true is City Grill.

Firecracker is the worst.

Different strokes. I just have not found Metro's food to be worth the trouble and volume anymore. Rather stay home and cook something out of the Gordon Ramsay books. LOL

FOODIE IS ME!

my problem is is that is what I've been doing..minus the officer's meeting and dinner last night. Though If I do ride I'm gonna skip kung fu dunno. I'm feeling very sluggy right now and don't want to revert to old bad habits. but yeah..more time off for me might not be a bad idea.

With the summer heat its best to take it easy and not overdo it. Trust me on this. Wait till the weather cools down some.
