I'm sick...

Well, I left work yesterday about noon and headed to urgent care cause by this point I had started to cough up green stuff. Stayed about 2 hours and then took their card, headed home and slept until mel was home. We called and I could come right in. Got to see the doc, nice older guy. Very thorough and very aware of interactions on drugs. I'm on a lot of things and we had to make sure nothing would interfere. Mel waited for me in the car and when I got back to the car he was asleep. He took me to walgreens to drop off the prescriptions. Got home and I slept. Mel went to kung fu and I got the scrips. If I had been more aware, I would have gotten a few things we need at walgreens but oh, well. Came home, had soup and then boiled myself in the shower. I got into bed after that and mel sat with me for a while while the water heater refiled. I was pretty sure I had emptied it. I slept okay but I felt this am that with as bad as my cough was and as tired as I was that I needed to stay home. So I did and the antibiotics are kicking my ass to sleep. I slept most of today. I had some soup and that is about it besides water.

I hate being sick...and this is seriously digging into my masterwork work time. Ugh! Well, rest today and maybe I can get a few things cut out tommorrow. 30 days.

Antibiotics are good for making sure you don't make all the co-irkers sick, but a frequent and productive cough makes YOU a co-irker and I'm sure they appreciated being spared that.

Did the Doc say what it was?

There seems to be a nasty bug going around, we've been calling it 'War Plague', but I don't think that's it. I've been out the past two days, Ysabet caught it, two other friends who were at war had it, but MOrgan-obachan caught it while we were at War and she didn't go...

I have an upper respiratory infection. Which in folks like me...can run to pneumonia really quickly...thus be going to the dock.
