The progress is happening...

ianukWork was good. I got lots of things started and a few things handled. I even got my slides done for Wednesday's meeting. I also got a few annoying tasks almost done, just waiting for a few more pieces of information. So hopefully I can finish those today and get them into review.
I got home and mel was busy working on the house. I got with the cleaning as well. About an hour into it we were pretty good. The hat arrived from bertana, wow its pretty!!!!
I had dinner, changed clothes and then headed out to the shop to work on things. Wander was over early with ceremony stuff. Perrin was by with the trim which then became try on clothes, make adjustments and oogle on the trim. Ari was next over and by the time I headed back out to the shop things were jumping on the scribble side..though only one person was actually scribbling. Most everyone else was working on things for my stuff on saturday which brings me to:

Seriously you all rock! I'm not sure what I'd have done without all of you guys helping me out. Just wow!
I worked until about 9pm in the shop and had to come in for cocoa and warming of fingers. I then got cleaned up a bit, chatted a bit and got the wild hair to work on my necklace for Saturday. I got that done by about 1030pm and mel was still up for quite a while working on my boots. That poor guy is gonna be exhausted by the time Saturday gets here. But the boots will be awesome. Well, time to get the engineer hat on...there is a tunnel ahead and the boilers need stoking.

Date: 2008-03-18 02:17 pm (UTC)And I'm super glad that you think it is pretty! I was afraid it was too plain/simple, but I was so afraid of doing anything fancier because I'm a slow stitcher. And also, I was utterly terrified of completely buggering it up beyond all recognition.
