Sunday of research and good cheer

Slept great and got up to have coffee in bed. Nummy!  Then got up and chatted with the hubby...evil plans are afoot.  Then I snuggled with the zippy and got his breakfast order.  Viva was quick and got back and we had breakfast at the dinner table.  Then we chatted for a bit more before Zippy headed off to walrick's and Ivan headed off to Mon's Baronial.  I got a comfy spot on the couch and continued reading.  Richard came by just in time fix the back gate (I helped by holding things steady) due to the high winds.  Hopefully that will hold for a bit.  Then he worked in the shop on a bench.  I then read until thyra and wander arrived.  I pulled out books for thyra's research, chatted with wander, read my book and watched tv for a few hours.  It was fun to see the thought process going on someone newish to research and the fun that can ensue when presented with 10 books on a topic.  Hopefully I made it fun for your thyra!   You'll do great!  I made dinner for the crewe once mel got home and then it was a nice quiet evening of watching tv, reading and chatting. 

All in all it was a great weekend to relax.  I didn't do much but that was okay.  It leaves me time to work on things this week for next weekend.  All good.  Course, now I'm toying with making a few garments before the summer season starts....we shall see. Well, time to put on the engineer hat on and get the train out of the station.

For a viking apron dress its 3 Yards for the underdress and 2 for the apron, yes?

What colors are acceptable? I want to have an idea before I go shopping so I know what to head for.

This also requires pins and beads...

Busy busy me. You should consider middle eastern for the summer weather. :D

Sounds like it. Milady Inara is going to help me get a basic ME worked on, but I welcome all sorts of patterns and knowledge too. So long as its different I'm happy.

hmmm brain is mush, must get some flow to the information...No. 5 overloaded...Cannot Compute, Cannot Compute....hehehe J/K It is a lot of information but I will have s preliminary draft by this weekend.
