A weekend in review...

ianukFriday was exhausting...work was grueling and I was grumpy. I left early, as planned after I did the two items I needed to do and got the oil changed in the car. I had a headache and when I got home I attempted to nap...it didn't work. I got things ready for the event and then went to bed earlish.
We were up kinda early but I felt like crap and slept more..I just couldn't even get myself going all morning and a bike ride was out of the question. We made it to the event and things were going pretty slowly due to set up in the wind. I was very, very glad all day that I wore my wool. american_knight won the defender for the against the dragon, Gilchirst won the rapier for his good sportsmanship and our youth had fun. The auction was smaller this year than last and richarddbrewer brought it some good monies for the barony with his stuff.
The feast was nice but it was getting colder, the entertainment was good but I was headachey and tired. We got home about 830 and I was in bed by 9pm. We had the attack of the ABC* which made for a not very restful night. Got up after sleeping way in on Sunday and felt better for it. We had coffee and nummy breakfast, chatted with Medric and then headed out to the event. The day was gorgeous and people were running late. We figured out that the uberchicken really was the red dragon which explains that monster's 6 year winning streak. The dragon fights were fun and southern scribble had a nice time working out of doors. We packed up and got home about 515pm and then it was changing of clothes and heading out to sweet tomatoes for ivan and I. they were very busy but it was a nice dinner. Got home and watched tv and I was in bed, asleep by 830pm.
It was cold this am with it being 60° in the house. I got the crock pot on to cook dinner and I was frozen by the time I was done with that. I got in the car to drive to work with the heat on. I feel dumb but I was cold. The cats were snuggled up together and I'm sure obsidian will spend the day under cover somewhere in the house. So, work has been pressing and my mind is still wandering. I need to get it back on track soon. Sighs. Well, meetings are forthcoming. Sighs.
