So the first image is of my kirtle pattern...I overlaid each piece over the pattern from June...you can see the physical difference in my body...many, many inches.

One of the things that was interesting to me at Estrella War was that I taught my "Heraldry for Kids" class to, well, two kids. One each day. The second day, the girl kid who was listening to me, and watching me make sketches of heraldic beasts said that she thought I drew very well.

It was odd how flattered I was by that compliment.

yeah, that picture was 30mins of me looking at the exemplar and drawing trodgor type shapes until the essence of the shape was there (learned that at KWHSS), then remembering how to make wings look like wings.

I've learned but I'm still a copyist...I have to have a reference otherwise I really can't draw.
