The weekend was healthy and productive. We got home from our ride yesterday, I made coffee and had water and mel made cookies. I had 2, I figured I was okay with that and that was really all I wanted after my banana. Then I got the lining tacked on my kirtle and the sleeves pinned on. I need to bring them by ari's tonight though cause it seems they don't quite fit around the armscye but it might just be me.
Watched some tv with the boys and then I headed to bed. I had weird dreams including trying to save
american_knight from getting his new biking jersey spit upon by the holly...very bizarre that one.
On the agenda today is getting ahold of raylee to get the steamer set up for the silk and then getting the first banners steamed. I need to do some more sewing on mel's cote (its not together yet) but other than that almost everything is at finish work. I'll be bringing lots of things with me this weekend to work on...but I hope to have the russian stuff done first and then the 14th Century stuff.
So, a pared down To do.
1) Eyelets in kirtle (probably by hand)
2) Sleeves on Kirtle (they are pinned)
3) Hem edging on kirtle (need #1 done first)
4) hems on mel's Tunic
5) sew ivan's Cote
6) Button holes on my cote / on mel's coat
7) Painting on mel's cote
8) Thank you scrolls printed
9) Steam all banners
10) Edge banners
11) Get laurel stencil from
ceciliamowebray
12) Plan out final courts
13) Don't go insane - IN PROGRESS
14) Get trim from Tara for caftan and svista
15) Hems on Svitsa
16) Hems on Caftan
17) Buttons on Cotes (forgot about that one).
