bleah. Tired and achey and allergy icky.

But on the bright side, I got new music last night on the Ipod (INXS, Jane Child*, TMBG) and another episode of Stitchit! Course, that is in the car...I'm in work and can't listen to goodness, sighs.

Oh, and I'm way behind on books!:
#13 - 11 on Top Working for Rangeman...lots of fun hijinks and I don't think Stephanie blew up a car.

#14 - 12 Sharp Some discontinuity from the last book, she's not working for Ranger but gets involved in the rescue of Ranger's daughter from the bad guys. Neato.

*Yes, Jane Child...it was the first tape I ever bought and I've missed it. Lots of funky in there...course the next things on the buy list include: The Kingston Trio, The Travelling Wilburies and Prince. I'm eclectic.

Oddly enough, I also recently put Jane Child's self-titled album on my iPod. I had stumbled across Chris Isaak's Wicked Game someplace, and the two are inextricably linked in my mind.

Hmmm...I hadn't thought of those two together in music in my head but yeah I can see it.

They came out about the same time, and the songs "Wicked Game" and "Don't wanna fall in love" have sort of a similar theme....

Jeebus, I haven't listened to Jane Child in forever and a day.

Also, I LOVES ME some Travelin' Wilburries! I heartily endorse your music selections!

Yeah, I was talking with someone about the first albums we bought and on tape it was Jane Child and on CD for me it was Edie Brickell...weird but true.

Aparently you're a year or two younger than me... the first album I bought for myself was, I believe, Simon and Garfunkle's Bridge Over Troubled Waters, on vinyl. Of course, that phase didn't last long, and I was soon buying the Eurythmics and Depeche Mode... still on vinyl.

My first CD purchase was the Pretenders' Brass in Pocket, if I remember correctly.
