Wacky Monday Hijinks...

ianukWell, kinda anyway. I went to bed a bit later than I should have but I was reading in a nicely, freshly made bed and it was nice. But I did not get to bed as late as mel who "wasn't tired." I got scared awake twice last night. Once by mel being nice and turning out his bedside light so I "wouldn't be bothered" and then when he was coming around the dresser he fell into it jostling the bed and scaring me. Second time was at 430am when the cats got into a screaming match....well, obsidian did at least. Butterfly was on the dresser, calm and collected and obsidian was puffed out like she got hit my lightening. Mel chased her around a bit and then we all went back to sleep. Sighs. Not sure what was up with that but obsidian has been a grumpous all weekend.
After I fell back asleep I got some Wacky Bobo(tm) dreams going on that involved me being late to work, but it wasn't my normal drive, it was a combo of my drive to high school and the drive to mel's old house on pleasant in rapid. I got into a car accident, had to steal a "green" tri-cycle from a gas station and then ride to work. Mel up with my friend drey who had tricked her trike out and the dream ended with my editorial about how the bikes, though dumb looking (big wheels are way cooler) were actually pretty good and how you didn't need to be in really good shape to take the hills at high speed. Very odd. So I was all weird when the alarm went off trying to think it I had actually done what I had dreamed or not and if I was late for work. I hadn't and wasn't and that was good.
Dinner last night was nice, got to hang with mingo and work on my afghan. I also started in on downloading The High Fiber Diet and The Knitmore Girls. I still have 1 episode of Stitchit! and 2 episodes of Craftlit to go through but it should be fun. Lots of good podcasts and the iphone has the capactity for me to be able to listen to them. I also played a lot of trism yesterday and I made 38th on the world leader boards..not to shabby. I'm a gamer, just puzzle type games.
Today shall be an adventure. Mel has to replace the cooler pump and I have to go for a bike ride. No excuses really..I just need to go. I have a phone in case something happens (asthma or something) and I will be okay. I also need to put wash away, clean up the kitchen and get my studio up and working again...then go to kung fu. But that shouldn't be too bad. I might head home a bit early to get all things accomplished but we shall see. The day is gonna be busy at work. Lots of paperwork that has to get done today. But it should be good.

posadnik_ivan had a really splendid b-day weekend and he got to relax and veg and I got to do some of the same. Projects for him this week, I think, include finishing a warping board so we can start the loom project next weekend. I'm excited.
