With the Sweet...comes the sour...

Last night was a very nice night of good friends, good movie, good beer and good conversation...





Woke up very late this morning and continued to stay in bed reading. Finally getting up for coffee and to finish my book and we got a phone call.

Master Yehudah had passed away. The Aten sun shines just a bit dimmer with his passing and I'm not even sure how to take it at this point...even a few hours after being told. I know he wouldn't want us all burbling and weepy but its hard to not be. The shock of it all. And I can't recall the last time I saw him and that bugs me to no end...I've got other memories that are filtering in...lots of them...but not the last time. Sighs. Kinda puts a damper on all things this weekend and I'm at a loss at what I should be doing. Sighs.

I think we are all kind of in that blown away state of not knowing what to do. It is so hard to take in. He was a great man and will be missed.

I had just got off the plane from Pennsic, turned on the phone, and Deborah called me. I did not know what to do,so I stood there,on the curb,and cried.

I saw the G.I. Joe stuff on your LJ, read Icka's underneath and now I can't stop crying. I didn't think he was that old. He has such a big heart, and now he's gone.

I gave Faydra a big hug, got on my hands and knees and scrubbed the floor. My waffling back and forth about going to Renman may have just been decided. I want very much to fight just for him.

I hadn't realized how much weight he carried on his shoulders until I felt some of it in my heart today.

I was a burbling mess in Joanne's when I got the call. Sort of out of sorts now with what to do next. I was looking forward to seeing him at Mid East feast, and now I will be short a hug.
