ianukWeekend...well, it didn't really feel like a weekend. I kept thinking the day was off and well, it seemed that way anyway. I didn't accomplish much but laundry and some knitting. I have one lace repeat left on my hat before I do the crown decreases...so maybe I can finish it this week. Oh, and I got richard's tunic sewn together and we still need a fitting before it gets finished. The week is shaping up busy, just looking at the meeting notices that got added on friday to my calendar. I'm hoping to get some work done at the gym today after work or maybe at 10am with Chuck. I have to be home by 6pm for music practice and then off to scribble. Have scrolls to pick up and get ready to send up to the signet at the weekend.
Somewhere in there I hope to make some cheese for cheese cake but not certain. We shall see. My goals for the week are to get my schedule and course set up for the gym and get the bike fixed, get my armor refit (move buckles) and start in the war prep.
Wow, looked at the weather for the week...rainy the entire week. Will be good for working in doors.
Watched Superman Returns on AMC last night. That is 2.5 hours I'm not getting back. Wow, the only high point was kevin spacey being Lex. Everything else..ick. Very disappointing. Mel gave it a "meh."
Oh, I guess I never chatted about Bisbee. BBC was awesome as always. Good fud. The shopping was pretty good as well. We got our Courier and Ives collection almost complete for cheap and I picked up a really cute little cast iron kettle. I also bought a couple of things from Kate Drew Wilkinson's Bead Shop. I couldn't make up my mind so I got two pendants and one of them came with matching earrings. I'm gonna be shopping for accents for them at the gem show so I can make them really pretty. We also got to see the Bisbee Fiber Guild hall and see all of their looms and chat with the ladies. I also bought some handspun, hand dyed yarn from them too. Not sure what its gonna be but the colors called to me. I'm thinking one of the skeins is gonna be a hat. I don't seem to have enough of those. Well, time to dig into the paperwork.
