Well, my 3 day weekend was nice. I didn't quite accomplish everything I wanted but I rested and that was good. Friday I didn't do anything really except get Momma Huck's and my mom's flights scheduled for christmas. yeah for frequent flyer miles and that american is now flying out of sioux falls. Woot! I really did just laze about most of the day which was good. I did a bit of shopping and got us packed up for coronation, including mustard packaging. For those in the household, the house mustard is my creation with using Ivan's homemade vinegar. Its potent. Just saying. Got Phelan a big batch for his camp and the squeefulness of that moment was awesome. He was very happy.

Coronation was good but it was tiring for me. It was awesome to see Thea and lots of other folks. I guess word hadn't quite gotten around that we are expecting and I guess Viking cloths dont' show much and I guess I'm not really showing much anyway. But the surprised faces were awesome. Lots of folks got to interact with the podling cause my belly button was the source of podlings amusement and push point all day. Thea's reaction was the best I think. I'm really happy with the comfort of the wrap around viking, though I think I need to pin the side for a bit until I'm bigger. After the main courts we headed off to IKEA with Ray/Will and Maria. Will/Ray were getting living rooms stuff. We were purusing baby stuff. Mel found a crib he really likes and that he couldn't make for the price. Plus it turns into a kids bed. So I'm putting that on the list. Lots of other really cute stuff that had me thinking. We picked up bits and bobs of things and a new camping futon. By the time we got to dinner I was very uncomfy. I'm having quite a bit of round ligament pain and stress and the drive home was brutal. Mel massaged my tummy for me but it almost made me cry. I hadn't realized how much it was hurting until he was rubbing. Sighs. But my appointment with Glenn on Sunday helped with the leg pain I've been having while sleeping.

Saturday night I didn't sleep too well (see previous statement). My legs were hurting and ended up getting up to eat at 6am and curling up on the couch and was happy to see a Buffy marathon on. I got mel up about 830 and we had showers and met Will/Ray for Joe's Breakfast. After that we got to see their new house and mel helped will get the new furniture boxes into the house. Posha was very happy to have mel to play with too. We headed out and I then went to Target and Costco. oof, that was busy. But got home, laid down for about 30 mins and then got in on laundry and the like for the week. Mel was doing a bang up job of cleaning the backyard. It really is looking good. The plan for moving the truck is the weekend after Southern. Which should time it pretty good for them coming in to do the concrete.

I managed to get everything washed and got my list going for what I will have to pack for Southern. I also need to leave mel a list since I won't be there for truck packing. Which is just weird to me. But it is what it is. I at least get to be on site Thursday though it will be late. Currently the weather looks to be 70 during the day, upper 30s at night. Pack your warm stuff! I tried on my laurel coat last night and it was just barely buttoning around the tummy. Lol. I will have to get my baronial coat out and modified for Estrella. Please make sure you pack warm stuff to the event and lots of warm socks etc! I also need to finish a handout today for my class which is my version of Tarrach's "How to Make Stuff". I have his handout and his permission to go with it but I need to work it out in my words and its been about 4 years since Ivan and I taught it. LOl. Should be good though.

Mom is also looking to buy me frivolous stuff for xmas. she's not happy with my practical ways. Any ideas folks? Also realize that she needs to shop locally in South Dakota since she doesn't have net access. I'm just not that frivolous or girly so I'm not sure what to put on my list. So any suggestions you guys have is good.

Oh, I did finish #38 which was Candace Robb's "A Spy for the Redeemer" for reading and started #39 which is "Outlaw Demon Wails". Sucked in hard even on the first chapter. I'll probably finish that while I'm in cleveland or finish my prezzie for Momma Huck. Or Both. We shall see.

Last night about 3am Mel got up cause his arms were going numb and butterfly had knocked over the trash (she was after the bacon wrapper from our BLTs). He stayed up and moved to the couch and I curled back up but it was hard to sleep. I had to eat something. Sighs.

I hope to make an appearance at scribble to drop a few things off to Icka and Ari but I need to pack for Southern so I can just come home from the airport on Thursday and switch out bags and leave. Plus I'm not sure how late I will be working either and I want to hit the gym.

Well, off to conquer hardware and paperwork.

Work was okay though a bit sparse. I made phone calls, read emails and read reports. I did give blood which was a good thing and I even managed to give it out of my right arm which can sometimes be an issue. I want to do double reds next time they are here so I shall try.

Got done with work and due to the blood letting I headed home. Worked on some weaving, chatted up the husband on house projects and holiday plans. Lots to think about there. I have about 2 feet of trim left and then I will be done which is a good thing. Left to head to target to pick up some essentials and ended up spending more than I intended. Unfortunately, the batteries I picked up for the kitchen scale were wrong and I will need to take them back. Eh, its okay. I was going off of memory and I didn't look at the part numbers.

Got to Ari's a bit late for scribble but had a good time and nommed on some luscious bread pudding. I think we all need the recipe! hint, hint. I managed to get the doodling around the letting done and I fixed the few places that were jacked up in the calligraphy. I missed a word and misspelled stuff in a few places. I'm pretty happy with the red pen work though...especially after borrowing a pen, a Stiff Hawk Quill nib, from Perin.

Got home and discovered we had a leak under the sink. Mel had to remove the disposal over the weekend to get at stuff that was stuck and it hadn't gotten quite tightened down. He was awesome and fixed it and we are very glad that I bought shamwow's. They work really, really well. By the time that was done we got sucked into watching tv...so it was a very late night. Getting up this AM was a challenge but we managed. Even the girls were snuggly. But its a good day, its tuesday and that means its really virtual wednesday. All good. Gonna bike this afternoon and then work on trim and sewing. All good.

After work I came home and got coupons, kissed the hubby and went shopping. I hit a special sale at gap body and picked up some cute underthings. Then I got tshirts for 5 a piece. And then I hit. 30% off sale on a purse that looked really similar to a Fossil one I fell in love with in April. This purse was half what the fossil was and I could side by side compare them since macys sells them too. I also had a 20% off my purchases for the day in my pocket. Yeah I got a new purse. Oh and I also had a credit from a return on my card to it was even cheaper. Tee hee.

After that it was knit night. The prezzie is still drying but more quickly with the fan on it. All good to ship tomorrow. Especially with the new brooche mel just made.

sighs...well, it was slipping gears and being generally unhappy and the seat is still causing me issues...so I don't get it back until Tuesday and then I do a re-fit with a new seat to help with the numbness I've been getting after about 10 miles. I hope it won't be too spendy but we shall see (the seat, I get free maintenance).

So, I did some shopping after I got my toes done. They are a very pretty fuschia now. Got a sketch book since I don't seem to be able to locate one in the house. Got some more yarn..yeah, I know, I'm a sucker...but its new fibers soy/wool blend to try and some other good standbys for things coming. I still need to run out and get miss holly a b-day gift but I think I'll head out and then finish mel's hat. Then I think bed. I'm worn out from today which I guess is okay. Good for me.

Well, the headspace started clearing after I had my chiro appointment and some silk garden shopping therapy. Glenn put me completely back in place and I couldn't believe how far out things were. Wow. Then I headed to the mall to do some shopping. I managed to hit all of the sales at Gap Body and Eddie Bauer. Did you know that Tuesdays are an Extra 10% off of stuff at Gap with their card? And I hit the sale at Eddie Bauer for Buy one, get another 50% off and an additional 30% on all of their sale stuff. Very awesome. I made out like a bandit. Lots of shirts, 3 pairs of pants, 1 pair of jeans and some bras. During the trips around the mall I got another phone added to our plan for richard...hey, he's a Kemp(in). So he's family. richard, I think you'll need to activate it or something...its still listed as "pending/suspended"

Got dinner at Chipotle for mel and I. Got him a big carnitas burro and I got a steak bowl with lots of grilled veggies. Then hopped by bevmo for beer and home. Mel was into beer when I got home. It will be a miracle if he doesn't kill a coirker this week. Had a nice dinner and richard came over with Watchmen and we enjoyed the flick thoroughly. I managed to kill the battery on my phone and had to do a reset on it this morning. It wasn't happy to have no juice. Oops. I had a nice evening...work wasn't too heinous. I'm just plugging away at things and not really worrying about the deadlines. People will just have to cope that things are tight on time and I'm getting to things as I can.

This afternoon, I'm gonna leave on time again and get working in the shop and then hit knit night. That should put me fully into a better mood and I'm happy about that. I need the pick me up of girl company and crafting.

Last couple of days have been nice. We headed out and saw downtown greenville and the river park. Lots of cool buildings and scenery. We did a bit of shopping in the Mast General Store, will probably be going back there for a few more things but we did pick up the kid's book called Mice On Main and then went and found the mice. I've also been sewing on a few projects. I got a bit further on my x-stitch project, I got my xmas jammies done (1 year later)and I've got 2/3rds of the secret squirrel projects done. All good. Will finish up more tonight but am taking a break. Mel's been baking homemade french bread, showing [livejournal.com profile] fibergeek how to split wood for projects and fixing her loom he made her years ago. Mom and Jocy are making dinner and its gonna be a nice evening. Though it looks like mel might be coming down with another cold. Sighs.

He has been having fun taking pictures with his new camera that I got him and I posted his pictures too.

Yesterday was short and long at the same time. I only worked a half day, hit a going away lunch at the Silver Saddle (good food btw, but mesquite grill, not my fav) and then headed out for the second round of allergy testing. This time wasn't as itchy as last but the bed side manner of the nurse was less than can be desired. I've never bled from a subcue injection...I had 30 of them and each one bled...sighs. Looks like I'm still slightly allergic to cats, ragweed and dustmites and really allergic to mesquite. hmmm...I meet with the doc to go over options but I'm not going on more drugs or on shots. I did that for 3 years and I was miserable the whole time. I got done earlier than I thought but was still a bit woozy to be back at work trying to think.

I headed out to try to find jeans. Target stopped selling my favorite brand so I headed to the mall. Macy's was awesome and I had coupons and got two pairs of jeans in a size smaller than I had been...at Old Navy I got one pair for $6.88 (I just need to tack down pockets cause they stick out funny) and 2 other pairs in my normal size...the next size down buttoned but was too tight...so that is good. I was beat by the time I got home but was glad that I got out and walked around a lot. Got home and mel was helping Auddy and Alison with shoes. I played with the kids for a few hours and then I was even more beat.

With the house getting quiet and the tireds setting in I decided to call it an early, early night. I listened to my ipod and read and was asleep pretty early after a nice long shower. It was nice to zone out in the quiet, listen to my music (I'd Genius'd on Blackmore's Night's Ghost of a Rose) and read more in my book. I was asleep not long after mel got home. He locked the girls out most of the night and we both slept well I think.

Today is cold out but that was to be expected. I have lots of analysis to do on some drawings and that is gonna take some brain power. So, I better get cracking while I'm awake and still fresh. I hope to get more work done on the banner tonight..but we shall see. I have to run to UPS to ship off gifts and then get home after working a longer day (make up time from yesterday).
