Well, friday was...odd. Work was good, got lots accomplished including proving that a DB was not doing what we were told it was doing. Our team was even able to pull 3 examples of different styles to show how its not working correctly...gotta luv beta testing. Then I got home and cleaned like a deamon. Course I was a bit grumpy...things were in weird places, odd things were clean, other things dirty and gah. But things were better after a relaxing bit and then pizza, a beer and some gaming of the board game kind. Settlers of Catan and Give me the Brain made apperances and the little naked mole rat that

swordmage gave me for my laurelling made a great brain. Went to bed at about 11pm or so and that was good.

We awoke on Saturday morning about 730am which is weird for us. Got breakfast, coffee and online shopping done before we headed to Ace Hardware for all things related to medieval projects. I got almost all of the stuff together for the silk steamer though I need buy tin foil. Then I had

lferion over for cotehardie fu. We got a pattern for Wander, a new pattern for me (I've changed in places upto almost 3 inches in size since June, Woot!) and then I sewed together the new kirtle and its now hanging with the lining for a day or so and then I will start the finish work. I need to play with the button hole attachments of my machine though..I'm gonna be needing it soon. Then Wander and I (well, I observed) got a pattern for Ivan's cote. Its dead sexy and I made a tunic for him this morning and it fits really well...though I need Ari to help get a sleeve pattern so I can cut his cote out and keep moving forward on things for investiture.

Today is a business breakfast and then me working on silk banners. I have to lay out my personal and then balldrich and Jessica's. That is my whole project today. If I get a chance I'll also lay out the one for Estrella A&S....which will be cool. Since we won, I'm gonna make a banner for each of us to have hanging on our poles. I also hope to have a scarab as well, we shall see. But its a lot to do today. I hope to be able to get the wash on the silk this week so while we're doing Dan and Perrin's next weekend things will have progressed. Just need to wait for the egg whites to get here.

So, all in all a good weekend thus far...just need to keep moving forward. Well, time for a shower and then breakfast.
