Oh insonia how I loathe thee

Well. Banners are completed for me, Perin and dan. I still need to steam them. But hopefully I'll get a call tommorrow from Raylee to help with set up. I watched tv for a bit and then went to bed. My book got really,really good,so I finished it. And now I'm awake. Sighs. I hope things are productive today since I'm a bit ahead of schedule. I might get the pennants done after all.

Okay better after a workout...

Well, with the headache that I woke up with I was not up for getting on my bike, so I put my 30 day shred dvd in and did the first session....very, very good workout...I'm liking it a lot. I can see how its gonna work for strength training and I need that in the upper body...though I need to get handweights that are 3 lbs versus the 1 lb I could find...I have no idea where all of our weights are at...very weird.

Then I got a shower and now I'm gonna head out for errands and breakfast.

I think part of the insomnia was that I was hungry...but who knows...probably things just messed up with working too hard on projects (but with results) and today I'll be getting things out side of the house taken care of and then I'll get going on painting the last 2 banners and getting the russian stuff cut out. I should be able to get them cut out and maybe sewn tonight. We shall see.

Now a more coherent post...

So, I have to say...I did a bunch of stuff not on my list this morning...but it was on the "do for yourself" list versus the "must be done" projects list...so eh...its still makes me happy.

1)Worked out...I bought the Jillian Micheals 30 Day Shred a bit before estrella and I got to try it out...I did the first section and its an intense 20mins of cardio/strength training/abs...very nice and good pacing. I didn't keep up as well as I think I should have but I imagine in another week or so I will move to the section 2 work out.

2) Got the truck totally detailed. Yeah, so I've really taken to loathing Simoniz for car washes...their nook and cranny clean leaves much to be desired, even after I complained multiple times. Sioux suggested the Octopus place and wow, they did an AWESOME job. They cleaned it so well, that what ever has been messing with the seat belt sensor keeping the light on for over the last 2 years was cleaned up and the light turned off. SCORE! I'm gonna use my $10 coupon to do the same on the car when mel gets home.

3) Got my hair cut/eyebrows shaped. They still wanted to cut more than I wanted and I didn't relent.

4) Breakfast at Joe's...what else can I say?

5) Grocery shopping at Sunflower for all healthy stuff and then having other folks agreen that Kashi Go Lean Crunch does taste like honey smacks...its not just me.

6) Prescriptions picked up.

7) Pedicure...omg did that feel good and she massaged my ankles so well I gave her a really good tip!

8) Running into zophia and Falcone at sunflower...good times. Can't wait to hang out with people after we step down...it will be good.

9) Bought girl scout cookies...nummy...but they will go in the freezer lest I bow to their temptations. Course my will power is really good right now, considering I ignored a home made caramel roll on my desk all day at work and last evening and only had a bit or so for energy before my work out. Go me.

So now I'm gonna pull out the commission banners and work on them...all good.

Course I guess that all of the above was part of #27 on the list...woot!

Art is good...

Well, I had a good time on the "me" part of the day and then I got rocking on the banners for commission. I did take a few interludes for food and reading but the banners are done. Woot!

On the 50 Books list:

I finished Furies of Calderon by Jim Butcher...it was slow to start but fun...the series is a bit fluffy but it will be fun it looks like.

And tonight I will be finishing Ill Wind by Rachel Caine...wow, what a ride. Fast paced throughout and what an awesome world...though I felt like I was reading a cross between Harry Dresden, Kim Harrison's Charm series and harry potter (there are some references that are just funny). Fun and good...I'll have to pick up the rest of the series. Next on the list will be some more janet evanovich I think.
